Our Office in the Netherlands installed two Tornado vertical lift storage machines, each with a height of 10 metres, for Pas Reform in the Netherlands, which resulted in a shelf storage area of 564m2 on a floor area of just 27m2.
Pas Reform is an international company, which has specialised in the development of innovative hatchery technologies for the poultry sector since 1919. The company has earned its position as one of the world’s leading hatchery equipment manufacturers, through decades of research into the biological and physiological aspects of embryo development, combined with a thorough understanding of all aspects of the poultry production chain - and a dedicated focus on the future.
The new facilities have been built with great attention to detail and been supplied with two Tornados vertical lift machines. The Tornado machines are each 10 m high and finished in Pas Reform’s own choice of colours. The machines have a transparent side and feature internal LED lighting that have been colour adjusted to match Pas Reform’s corporate colours.
The Tornado Storage machines were specified by Pas Reform as they wanted clean and safe storage for their products, in a system that would help them reduce picking errors while increasing picking speed.
Both machines are equipped with label printers, compartment dividers in all the trays, light pointers for picking, touch screens for operation, variable colour LED lighting, remote servicing and the TC2000 WMS software package. A complete solution in a small space.
